It all started when….

I read an article in the third grade about the killing of African Elephants for their tusks. I wondered how I, a 9 year old, could create awareness on an issue that I felt was so important. I decided to design posters via different mediums such as illustration and collage that brought a visual awareness to the elephants' plight while communicating to the audience what they could do to help. I hung these throughout my elementary school. This marked the beginning of my passion for design and from there it only grew stronger. It wasn't until several years later and a life-changing decision to leave a successful professional career, that I decided to make design my priority - a decision I haven't looked back on.  

I graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in Visual Communication Design and Art History, both of which play strong parts in my design style, but more so, map to the roots of who I am.
