Mission:

For 80 plus years, Columbia Sportswear has been making high quality gear for people who enjoy the outdoors. Based in the Pacific Northwest, they deal with every type of weather imaginable which gives them the benefit of testing their gear at home to insure it will keep the user warm, dry, cool and protected regardless of circumstance. 

The quality of their gear, however, does not match up with their overall look. Everyone needs a re-brand from time to time and they are missing the “cool factor” that the current outdoor enthusiasts are looking for when planning their experiences.



New Visual IDentity:

Logo

The Logo, and system as a whole, focuses on what the Columbia gear is made for: outdoor adventure. The primary logo is structured as a tent, a tree and a mountain while the alternate logo is the tree standing alone.
